Perforator is a rhythmic gating audio effect designed as an AUv3 Audio Unit plugin. This innovative tool offers a variety of features that allow users to creatively manipulate incoming audio, producing rhythmic patterns from sustained sounds.
With Perforator, users can finely adjust slice envelopes to achieve a range of effects, from classic staccato "trance gate" sounds to simulating pumping sidechain compression techniques. The plugin includes two gating mechanisms: an AMP EG gate, providing a traditional gating method, and a 12dB/Oct lowpass filter that swiftly eliminates high frequencies to effectively mute them.

Please note that this feature requires iOS11+ and a host application that supports AU MIDI from effects.
